Macon is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Macon follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This has the potential of being a great hotel, but due to a couple of issues I give it 3/5. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the kitchen and refrigerator in the suites help with long-term travelers. The staff are extremely nice. Where I am talking one star is for the breakfast service. There are a lot of business travelers to stay at this hotel and need to be at work early. If the advertised hours for the breakfast at 6 AM, then the food needs to be out at 6 AM, not 6:15 or 6:20. I dock the second star for the cleaning of the rooms. When the rooms get cleaned, it’s done at the top notch level. The keyword is “when.” The rooms are supposed to be cleaned every other day unless you request differently, but all of a sudden your room will stop being cleaned for no reason.

I have been staying at this property for 10+ years. I had been traveling elsewhere did not know about the renovations. While the former rooms needed refreshing what they have done here is a complete downgrade of the property. I searched online and two goals were in mind for this renovation, first, to appeal to the younger traveler with the minimalist furnishings second, less maintenance and more profit for the owner. Well I am a well-seasoned traveler who enjoys a comfortable room. This property at onetime was like coming hoe to an apartment or in some ways a well appointed destination. Neither is true, you walk into a living room area which is all tile flooring which screams cheap! the furniture looks like it came from a discount store. the lighting in the room is sparse and they removed the shower doors replaced by a shower curtain. The room was clean as I would hope a newly remodeled room would be but at best disappointing. The rooms do not live up to the price point they ask for at times over 200.00 a night depending on availability. The staff as always was very friendly and accommodating in every way. I just cannot believe what has been done to this property we enjoyed so
